Where in the World - Day 6 USA

Hey everyone!!! Today's post is so special to me - I've been looking forward to it since I joined the challenge. I don't think I've mentioned this on the blog before, but I actually grew up in the US (lived there from 1985 to 1989 and then from 1992 to 1997). Since we left Washington D.C. I have not been back, but I hope to visit in the future. This is my inspiration photo:

Yep, that's me and my mum at the Cherry Blossom festival
And here is how I created the design - I started by applying a coat of Essie Smooth Sailing, dabbed on some BYS White Matte with a sponge. The I used Chi Chi Pump It Up to stamp the flower from BM-11, and finally I dotted little flower detail with BYS Deep Plum Matte. Here is the result:

As always, thanks for stopping by and some more pics from my childhood:

Check out the shoes on mum !!!!

Short attention span - could you tell?

  6. Your nails are so beautiful, and I loved the story behind them! Were you born in the U.S., or did you move there and live there for a while?
