Pictures in time

I have been a bit slack lately with posting, but I do have some of the manis to show you.
This one I did using one of my magnetics - they are heavily pigmented, so work well for stamping!
The base is Essence Where is The Party?
And here is one I did when I was in the mood for blues.
OPI Dating a Royal with CG Blue Bells Ring
This summer was a hot one -
Nikolai in a very comfy twisted position
My first ever ruffian attempt - it grew on me after a couple of days lol
OPI Designer De Better and My Very First Knockwurst
I tried some layering and stamping in one go
OPI Nein! Nein! ...Ok Fine! with CG In The City stamped using Essie No Place Like Chrome
It was too blingy, so I added a matte TC. Much better!
I also got some more indies - like this one - Mardi by Alanna Renee:
And this was my mani for Chinese NY:
I also played around with some new plates from Brazil:
And finally, here is the design I did for Australia Day back in January:
Isn't that bottle shot pretty???
So there you have it - some of the designs from the last 7 weeks.
Thanks for stopping by!

Announcing Australia month!

It's summer Down Under! What does this mean for the blog?

Source
As some of you might know, Australia Day is January 26,
so I decided to spend a bit of time this month showcasing the Australian brands that I love!

I know many have heard of Picture Polish and Ozotic (great brands I've heard, but out of my price range);
but I wanted to focus on the brands that are more affordable, as well as showing Aussie indies.
We have many talented ladies, who make incredible polish!

So stay tuned this month for special reviews!

Cheers))

Where in the World - Day 11 Hungary

For the longest time I did not know what to do for today's country, until I read that the Rubik's Cube
was invented in Hungary. As soon as I read that I knew what my design would be!

Am I a nudist? (pic heavy!)

I have never been a huge fan of nude polishes, but school, and later work,
put restrictions on what manicure we can have. Over time I accumulated a number of "nudes".
Today I prepared a quick review of mine.

Please read: This is my disclaimer for this post - I apologize if the state of my cuticles offends some readers. They are going through a difficult transition at the moment. I have stopped cutting and peeling them off (bad habit I know), so with the help of Sally Hansen, Burt's Bees and a lot of patience, they will make a full recovery. Thank you for understanding.

Shoe-spiration Series - Part One

Don't you wish you could wear your favorites shoes all the time?! Well, maybe we could put them on our nails! So I did.
I will do a three-part series of manicures inspired by my favorite shoes. The first pair - nude and navy quilted ballet flats. They have cute little gold studs around the toe and heel.

My hubby calls these "Mickey Mouse shoes" - don't ask me why
