Good morning! When I saw this post I had to put it up straight away - so I am posting at 6AM)))
I came across Danielle's blog Totally Nailed and I just had to ask her to guest for me - the designs are so beautiful and I love the overall tone of the blog. So enough waffling on from me, here she is!
I'm absolutely thrilled that Natalia has asked me to do a guest post for her. I love her blog and I hope all you readers don't mind me taking over for the day :) My name is Danielle and you can find me over at Totally Nailed.
I'm not usually one for finding massive inspiration before I paint my nails, I tend to just 'go with it' and do whatever pops up in my head. This mani is different though. I'm sure many of you saw photos and highlights from the Fashion Weeks all over the world and my mani inspiration comes from London Fashion Week and the House of Holland (being a Brit this was an obvious choice). After seeing some of Henry Holland's amazing designs on the catwalk for S/S 2013, I had a nosy at his website and saw an amazing dress from S/S 2012.
This is right up my street. I love love love animal print and leopard has to be one of my favourites. In fact, it was a leopard print mani that got me into nail blogging to start with.
I started with a base of Angelica ‘Palma Violet’ and created a gradient effect using Perfect Chic ‘My Love’ before adding some leopard spots with a black nail art brush.
I hope you like it!
Thank you so much for having me :)
Danielle
