Blogger Collaboration Series: Nails at 2 AM

I am pleased to welcome a very creative lady to the blog today: Christine from Nails At 2 AM.
When I came across some of her designs on Instagram, I think my jaw dropped (literally!)
and I knew I had to invite her to take part in this series.

Please make Christine welcome and don't forget to check out her amazing work.

Hey y'all! My name's Christine, I'm 21, I'm a nail art enthusiast, and I may or may not have a nail polish addiction. I'm the name behind the nails at Nails at 2am and Natalia has kindly asked me to write a guest post for her "Jewellery Inspired" nail series. When she first told me about it, the first thing that came to mind was bling, bling and BLING. But after a peek at my jewellery collection I found a pair of earrings I bought at least 4 years ago. I think I wore them only once ever, most likely because they were an impulse buy. I'll probably end up asking my mum or sister if they want them now that I've dug them up from my jewellery graveyard. (Note from cats-n-nails: I want them!!!)

I used 2 Essence polishes from the Sun Club collection that were close matches to the teal on the earrings: Essence Splash Refresh and Chasing Waves. For the gold outlining I used my favourite gold polish Orly Glitz.

It's Spring here in Sydney, Australia (although I think the weather's a bit confused sending us debilitating heat one day and hail the next) and colourful manis are now in season, so I'll be sporting these babies tomorrow at a wedding!

A big thank you to Natalia for the guest post on her blog, and I hope you all liked what my (I like to hope) creative mind came up with at 2 o'clock in the morning! It would also mean a lot to me if you'd come visit me at my blog Nails at 2 AM home to nail designs concocted at 2am (and hence the name!). Also if you're on tumblr you're welcome to follow me there too. I'm still fairly new to the nail art world, having only started in May of this year, but I'm slowly falling into the darkness ...and happily so!

Hope for you all to share this journey with me!
