Sail Away

Since recent travels took us to a few seaside towns I thought it would be fitting to try something nautical on my nails. I used this fabric print as my inspiration:

Nautical print

My version looks like this:

Not sure if you can make out the "rope", but I had to go with a taupe colour, as I don't have a white polish that stamps well (and I don't want to pay $$ for the Konad polishes). Any ideas? I'd appreciate your suggestions ))

L-R: Victoriana, Models Prefer Chill Out, Face of Australia You Blue Me Away and Foxy Roxy
I had a bit of trouble choosing the right base colour, so I ended up sponging the two shimmers (Victoriana and You Blue Me Away) in layers. The I used Foxy Roxy to stamp using M63 and on top I added the anchors from BM08.

Looking down at my hands and thinking of the next holiday :)

Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by!
