Eternal question

"What to wear?" and "What to put on my nails?" - Sometimes I find the answers to both by accident. Like putting a "mismatched" top and a skirt next to each other can give me an "A-ha!" moment and an outfit idea. Same with my nails - bottles of polish usually grouped by colour family shine through when surrounded by a completely "foreign" shade.

Here is an example - butterLondon's Lillibet's Jubilee. I picked this up recently and had not yet used it in a manicure. My original idea was to use it in a design with dark vampy colours to bring out the lovely lilac shimmer a bit more:

L-R: Lillibet's Jubilee, Shabby Drab, I Brake for Manicures and Lincoln Park at Midnight
But then I noticed that the bottle was next to some brights:

L-R: Passion for Fashion, Zealous, Lillibet's Jubilee and Fuchsia

Cue the light bulb!
I had to try it! So this is what I ended up with (my nails are still recovering from the holidays, so here's a nail wheel):

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thanks for commenting - it's a bit dreary in Perth atm, so something summery was in order!
