Pictures in time

I have been a bit slack lately with posting, but I do have some of the manis to show you.
This one I did using one of my magnetics - they are heavily pigmented, so work well for stamping!
The base is Essence Where is The Party?
And here is one I did when I was in the mood for blues.
OPI Dating a Royal with CG Blue Bells Ring
This summer was a hot one -
Nikolai in a very comfy twisted position
My first ever ruffian attempt - it grew on me after a couple of days lol
OPI Designer De Better and My Very First Knockwurst
I tried some layering and stamping in one go
OPI Nein! Nein! ...Ok Fine! with CG In The City stamped using Essie No Place Like Chrome
It was too blingy, so I added a matte TC. Much better!
I also got some more indies - like this one - Mardi by Alanna Renee:
And this was my mani for Chinese NY:
I also played around with some new plates from Brazil:
And finally, here is the design I did for Australia Day back in January:
Isn't that bottle shot pretty???
So there you have it - some of the designs from the last 7 weeks.
Thanks for stopping by!

You had to be there!

Today I'd like to share with you something that happened on Saturday -
we had a face-to-face with some beauty bloggers and IG'ers (?) from Perth!!!
There is actually a few more girls in the area, but they couldn't make it unfortunately (((
Here is a group pic:
Who cares about what we look like, it's all about the nails, right?! Haha!
Clockwise from the top: Courtney, Brie, Luisa, myself and Julz.
It was so much fun to hang out with the girls and just chat about anything and everything
- can't wait to do it again!

Before the rendezvous, I met up with Julz and we did some damage!!! It was awesome)))
Read more about her haul here.
Read on for more details.

Holiday haul and #nailmail!!!

Hi lovelies, I thought I should post this awesomeness that came my way during December.
First up, my mum brought me these tiny little precious bottles:
They're super cute!! Will post swatches))

Pick the odd one out!

Recently I was going through my Helmer, making room for some new goodies,
and I noticed some similar polishes - here are some quick comparison swatches.

(All polishes swatched in the order of the bottles, 2 coats unless noted)

Violet:

L-R: ulta3 allure; Maybelline Color Show Amethyst Ablaze; Mode Blue Steel

ulta3 and Maybelline are close, but the opacity is different (ulta3 needs more coats).

Announcing Australia month!

It's summer Down Under! What does this mean for the blog?

Source
As some of you might know, Australia Day is January 26,
so I decided to spend a bit of time this month showcasing the Australian brands that I love!

I know many have heard of Picture Polish and Ozotic (great brands I've heard, but out of my price range);
but I wanted to focus on the brands that are more affordable, as well as showing Aussie indies.
We have many talented ladies, who make incredible polish!

So stay tuned this month for special reviews!

Cheers))

Jealous much?

This was my NYE mani:

Showing my 'stache - Black

Today I will show you some of the BLACK section of my 'stache.
Although usually my motto says: "Black is boring!" - it's good to break the rules once in a while.
Besides, these black polishes are anything but boring. See for yourself!

Also, I need your help - see question at the end of the post.

The BATTLE (Nail Polish) Challenge - Week 3

Today's installment of the challenge is Pink vs Purple!
I have lots of both colours and love to wear them equally, so this was a tough one.

In the end I decided to post some swatches from a recent NailMail from Brazil.
(Warning! cuticle horror ahead - continue at your own risk)

Showing my 'stache - Orange & Coral

This next part of the series is a surprising one - for me anyway!
I have a whole lot of orange and coral nail polish!!! Why? How? - No idea!

Source
I only ever wear it on my toes, but it' would be a great way to add a pop of colour
to a stamp on my nails (maybe I should try it LOL)

Do you like fridge magnets?

I do! I collect them))) So if you ever want to send me a little one from where you are - feel free!
Source
As promised, today's post is all about Australian magnetic polishes.
Since Sally Hansen magnetics are costing around $17 (!), I found some wallet-friendly alternatives.
